Elias & Mara Kellen
Eat slowly.
Live well.
Cook together.
We cook the way the world’s longest-lived people eat: beans, greens, olive oil, and plenty of time at the table. Pull up a chair.
A 14 Day Meal Plan
“We didn’t set out to become ‘Blue Zone people.’ We just asked what Elias’s grandmother was doing that the rest of us weren’t.”Mara & Elias

Meet us
Two people. One very long table.
Mara is the curious one: quick to laugh, first to the market, never without a basket of herbs. Elias is the thoughtful one, with a half-smile and a grandmother who turned 94 still tending her garden every single morning.
Together we cook slow, simple food from the places where people quietly live past 100, and we share all of it on Instagram. Not a diet. Not a cleanse. Just the pattern.
Old Enough to Work
Fourteen days. One simple, delicious way to eat.
Our US Kitchen Edition meal plan turns Blue Zone traditions into weeknight meals made with ingredients from an ordinary supermarket.
- 14 days of menus, each inspired by a Blue Zone
- 28 recipes with clear steps and estimated nutrition
- Two shopping lists, ready to tick off
- “Cook Together” nights to share the work and the conversation
From our kitchen
Food that looks, and tastes, like a long lunch.

Our home
A stone house, a garden, and the sea at the end of the path.
Everything we cook starts within a few steps of the kitchen door: tomatoes on the vine, rosemary by the wall, olive trees that are older than both of us put together.

Where the inspiration lives
Five places where people live the longest.
Researchers call them Blue Zones. We call them dinner inspiration. Explore what each one eats, and why it works.
